Can’t recommened this tour more!! I would rate this tour No.1 after completing multiple winery tours around the world. Priorat is a small yet special wine region with its very unique history and terrior. It was completely mind-blowing to see old vines and vineyards on avg. 300m altitude valley with slate soil, which is difficult to visit without a tour. Private day trip was the best choice! 10000% worth value.
Ivan’s knowledge and passion about his job added exceptional value to this experience. He was super focused and professional to deliver as much as information about the region and wine history during the whole 11hours of trip. All people we met in Priorat were also very nice and passionate about wine making where you can experience the real, authentic Priorat thanks to Ivan’s exceptional relationship!
One of the best parts of this tour was olive oil tasting which you don’t want to miss! Not only the best olive oil but also the sweetest woman you will meet there!

Ivan was an excellent guide and the Penedes is an amazing place with outstanding wine. You get into, the countryside surprisingly quickly and with a guide who is fun and familiar with many regional topics, having grown up in the area. Worth every penny!!!

Not to be missed
Ivan gave us a most individual trip, we have been to the area before but this trip took us right to the heart of the area, speaking to people involved in the industry, not just a person dealing with visitors. The visit to the biodynamic vineyard was amazing, standing within those vines was so peaceful and we could really sense how at one with nature they were. An excellent day throughout with a wonderful guide – Ivan looked after us really well and was very obliging, I am so glad we booked this it made our holiday.

A rewarding experience
A beautiful ride that is worth knowing. Touring the fields and vineyards by bike has no point of comparison. We chose the ecobrunch option and had a delicious meal and tasting of different wines from the region. A rewarding experience, of great quality and attention from the staff. We will be back!!

A great day in the wine fields with e-bike
We had a great day biking in the wine fields in Penedes. The bike rental is right by the train station. With google maps, it was easy to follow the route and it was beautiful. The wine tasting was very good and in a cute setting. We found it very well organized with fast responses. Would definitely book again!

Lovely cava tour
Ivan took us on a private tour to 2 wineries, both family-owned. one was very small but growing grapes for many years. Both were excellent & the owners did the tastings & tour. Spanish-aged cava is so delicious. A gorgeous day to sit outside & enjoy lunch looking over the vineyard. Ivan is a terrific & caring host, you will really enjoy your day.

Unforgettable and beautiful wine tour

Lovely experience
We had a lovely tour! Stopped at two beautiful wineries and had a really nice brunch. It was easy to get to by train from Barcelona and the bike rental place was right next to the train station. Highly recommend using the electric bike as there were some hills! All in all, a lovely experience.

We were able to visit an entirely new area outside of Barcelona that was beautiful because of this, Priorat was breath taking!

Epic private tour with Ivan. WORTH EVERY CENT
Ivan was an incredible guide.
I paid for a private tour, and he want above and beyond to ensure the day was amazing for me.
He was extremely receptive to my expression of the experience I desired to have. He even altered plans a bit upon getting more feedback from me, around what I wanted to do. We literally did exactly what I wanted, and it was even better than I could have planned or imagined it.
A private tour is literally worth EVERY euro.
There is so much included in the cost of the tour that it is actually impressive he doesn’t charge more. You could easily spend the same or more than the cost of the tour in a day of renting a car, paying for gas, paying for all the wine tastings and tours, and also paying for one’s own food and water. Also, not to mention, the value his knowledge and ability to guide and pre-arrange these experiences brings, is amazing. Consider this.
I would absolutely do this again with Ivan.
Go check out El Priorat. It is magical and has seriously delicious wine, olive oil, and food. Ivan will make your visit to Catalunya unforgettable.

4x4 through the different environments
Had the most incredible experience today on the Wino Tour with Florence and her beautiful winery at Pares Balta. We were so lucky to be there for harvest and sampled many different varieties of grapes that were ripe and ready as we 4×4 through the different environments. A tour of the wine barrels and Cava cellar was finished off with some gorgeous wine sampling. The best day we have had in Spain! Thank you Ivan for helping to organize such an experience.

Visit to Priorat
Ivan was our guide for the 12 hours tour to the Priorat wine region. We left Barcelona very early and arrived at the Más Doix cellars, a new building facing the Monsant mountain range. During that visit, joined by another couple of tourists, we tasted 5 different wines made with Granatxa and other local grapes. A visit to Cartoixa d’Escaladei (Carthusian Monastery of Santa Maria d’Escaladei) was extremely useful to understand the history (since the year 1200) behind this prolific region of quality wines. We had lunch at the Clos Figueres restaurant where we tried an excellent Garnatxa wine (Figueres 2017) with our food based on local produce. We ended our tour with a very detailed visit to Scala Dei, the most known cellar of the region. Along the visit, we enjoyed the enthusiasm of Paul, our internal guide, a very proud Brit that has been in the region for over 20 years. A special recognition to the knowledge of Ivan, not only in terms of the Priorat region but of Catalonia at large. All in all, a very remarkable experience that I strongly recommend.

The Perfect Tour
My husband and I enjoyed a day trip from Barcelona to the Priorat region with Ivan as our driver, guide and companion. The entire day was a delight from start to finish. We visited two wineries, had an incredible and memorable lunch, and took in a few attractions and vistas along the way. A bonus of our tour was that Ivan is a history enthusiast, so we got our wine tour, along with all kind of insights on Barcelona, Catalonia, its people, culture and history during the drive.I will also add that we requested a tour just three days in advance, and Ivan quickly responded and made it happen. The whole experience felt tailored for us, a day trip with a friend, not a canned tour. Highly recommend!

The experience was excellent. Beginning with the communication and kindness in the process of choosing an activity with Wino Tours (very close and personal attention), ending with the visit to the Albet i Noya winery (Visit to the vineyards and Eco-brunch). What a fantastic way to spend the day visiting wineries in Priorat. Ivan is a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. We visited two wineries and had lunch in an amazing restaurant.
