The Sangenis I Vaque winery was my favorite. This family run winery is producing outstanding wines!

Ivan, our guide, was engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the Priorat region. He brought the history, geography, and wine culture of the area to life while making the day relaxed, informative, and fun. His enthusiasm and personal approach made a wonderful day even more memorable.

Our first stop, Sangenís i Vaqué, was a real highlight. Maria was extremely knowledgeable and gave us fascinating insight into the winery, its wines, and the family’s history and traditions. We then enjoyed a very good lunch at Clos Figueras, which was a wonderful opportunity to experience the local food and wine in such a beautiful setting.

We finished the day at Celler Devinssi, where Jordi gave us an excellent introduction to the wines and the character of Priorat. He was knowledgeable, engaging, humorous, and great fun, making the final tasting a perfect way to end the tour. The combination of three very different wineries, excellent wines, great food, and especially the wonderful people we met along the way made this an outstanding experience.  Verified Top notch Priorat experience
Our tour to Priorat with Ariadna was absolutely perfect in every way. She is a great driver which is relaxing from the start. She is educated in wine and we were able to spend the drive to Priorat in comfort while chatting about wine, the history of the region and geography. We loved the wineries that Kevin selected for our tour. Sagenis Vaque was a delight as we enjoyed local cheeses and hazelnuts while tasting wine at the top of the vineyard. We had a huge lunch at Clos Figueras, closing the day at Scala Dei with a relaxed and educational tasting. We were able to purchase wine both to carry out and ship back to the US. Scheduling the tour was easy over email. Honestly top notch in every way.

We checked out 3 very interesting wineries and met the owner at each of them. I feel that arriving to the wineries with someone who knows the owners creates a level of rapport immediately and enriches the experience. Our tour guide Joan was very knowledgeable and we chatted about the wines of Priorat and Spain more broadly as we drove between wineries. He was also very hospitable and gave us lots of personal recommendations for the rest of our trip. Would recommend to anyone wanting to spend a day tasting wine in Priorat.

Can you accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, or other dietary requirements?

We are happy to accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, and other dietary restrictions on all our tours. Please let us know about any specific needs when booking by filling out the “Do you have any dietary restrictions?” section.

Will we have hotel pick-up and drop-off for all locations?

We always strive to arrange the pick-up as close to your hotel as possible. However, in some cases, we may ask you to walk 10 to 15 minutes to a nearby pick-up location to help streamline our guide’s schedule. We truly appreciate your understanding!

We highly recommend using WhatsApp for the best and fastest communication with your guide.

Is advance booking required, and can I pay later?

Because our group sizes are limited, we highly recommend booking in advance. If you’re unsure of your tour date, you can secure your spot with a 25% deposit and pay the remaining balance the day before your tour. Our flexible cancellation policy is designed to prioritize your convenience and flexibility.

What is the cancelation policy for the small-group tours?

If you cancel the tour more than 24 hours in advance, you will receive a full refund.

Can I bring children? Is the tour suitable for families?

Children aged 12 and above are welcome on our small group tours. Families with children under 12 are kindly asked to book a private tour, ensuring a peaceful experience for all guests.

What is the legal age for drinking in Spain?

The legal age for drinking alcoholic beverages in Spain is 18.

What is the maximum capacity per grourp in each tour?

Small group tours are set to a maximum of 8 people. If you are a group larger than 8 you can request a private tour sending us a form here.

Will the tour be cancelled in case of bad weather?

Our winery partners are fully equipped with indoor facilities to ensure guest comfort regardless of rain, cold, or extreme heat. To ensure safety, Wino Tours actively monitors the AEMET (Spanish National Weather Agency) for local alerts.

Our current 2026 weather policy is as follows:

Red Alerts: Tours are canceled only if a Red Alert (very unlikely) is issued.
Yellow & Orange Alerts: We exercise extreme caution and closely monitor conditions for these alert levels, though tours typically proceed as planned due to our partners’ indoor capacity.
Standard Weather: Tours are not canceled for typical rain or wind, as all tasting experiences can be moved to comfortable indoor settings.
