At 8 a.m. in Barcelona or at 9 p.m. in Tarragona, your private guide will come to pick you up at your accommodation. The trip from Barcelona to the Priorat region takes 2 hours.
Montsant Gran Reserva wine
The Ronadellas winery is the only one in the Priorat region that makes Gran Reserva wines. A DO Montsant winery that is highly appreciated in Catalonia. For sure, this is an opportunity to taste the differences, and similarities, between the DO Montsant and DOQ Priorat.
Wine from the oldest vineyards in Priorat
Mas Doix is one of the few wineries that has a “Gran Vinya Qualificada” wine (there are only 3 in Priorat). Here you will have the opportunity to taste 2 single-varietal wines, made from the oldest vineyards of Cariñena and Garnacha del Priorat, first planted in 1902. Demonstrating the potential of local varieties that can do very well in the harshness of the region. In addition, Mas Doix has a wine tasting room with breathtaking views of the vineyards.
Lunch in a signature restaurant
Delight yourself in the best restaurant in Priorat. You can choose between Brots, Quatre Molins or La Cooperativa. The first a renowned signature cuisine, the second a Michelin Star restaurant and the last a prominent restaurant in Porrera.
Barrel tasting at the Perinet winery
The barrel tasting experience takes place in the Perinet winery. A beautiful avant-garde building, in the middle of the terraced vineyards from Priorat. With a breathtaking landscape to enjoy with this tour.. And the best is the barrel tasting, an immersive experience. Where you can taste wine from the barrel and understand the differences between grapes, terroir and aging. Finally, you will have a wine tasting with local appetizers.

The drop-off at your accommodation will be at 21h if it is in Barcelona, or at 20h if it is in Tarragona.

Our day in Priorat with Ivan was extraordinary! Starting with a tour of Scala Dei we tasted some exceptional wines from the historic winery along with some single varieties to get a real sense of the magic of Priorat. Ivan had come recommended to me by another wine professional and his tour did not disappoint! He organized visits to 3 amazing wineries where I had an opportunity to meet with incredible owners and winemakers, get driven into the vineyards for tours, experience some very special hard to find wines, explore several of the amazing tiny towns dotted throughout Priorat, and have a stunning lunch at a Michelin starred restaurant – all in one day!!!
