Olive oil tour itinerary
Hotel Pick-up
9 a.m: Your guide will pick you up at your hotel. Sometimes we may ask you to walk to a nearby location for an easy pick-up.
Olive oil tour
10 a.m: Discover the art of olive oil production on a tour of a traditional Spanish olive oil mill near Barcelona. Learn about the olive oil process from its origin to its final product. Meet a typical Catalan family of olive oil producers who will lead the tour and the tasting. Taste different olive oils on their own, with bread, and other exciting food pairings. Learn about the different olive oil varieties and the olive trees that produce them.
Lunch in a vineyard
12 p.m: Only 15 minutes from the first stop, we find the small winery of Mas Perdut. Here, you will first get a winery tour and learn about natural wine and olive oil. Finally, the family in the winery will prepare a typical Catalan lunch to pair with the organic wine.
Walking Tour in Tarragona
3 p.m: Step back in time during a captivating walk through Tarragona’s 2,000-year history. Feel the thrill of the ancient Roman Amphitheatre, visualize the races at the Roman Circus, marvel at the Aqueduct, and lose yourself in the enchanting alleys of the Gothic Quarter.

6 p.m: Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or nearby.

It depends with the availability. Out favorite farms near Tarragona and Sitges are: Torclum and Mas Montseny.
You will taste two kinds of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from two different varieties. First, you will taste the olive oil on its own and identify the flavors you notice —tomato leaf, artichokes… Then you will taste it in different ways: with bread, homemade marmalade, and even chocolate!
The lunch in the winery can be included while you make the booking or sending us a message at least two days before the tour.
It also depends on the wineries availability. Our current wineries for a brunch after the olive oil tasting are: Mas Perdut and Torre del Veguer.
We only cancell the tours when there is a orange or red alert in the weather forecast. The rest of the days we continue running the tours since our partners are all prepare against the rain and the activities can be held indoors.
Yes, we can pick you up in Sitges, Tarragona or somewhere in between this cities. In case you are in a city outside our route we will add an extra fee for the pick-up and drop-off.
We use a 7-seat car for groups of fewer than 5 and a 9-seat van for groups of 5 or more. If your group is larger than 8, then we will rent a minibus. All our cars have comfortable seats and AC.
