Ivan created a great tour that greatly exceeded my expectations. My background is that my family owns a winery and tasting rooms in California. The small group was a perfect size. I enjoyed the fact that all the places we visited were small, family-owned wineries and didn’t feel at all touristy, weren’t pushing sales, and let us take our time. This was such a FAB tour, and Ivan is a wonderful host! He made many moments that surprised and delighted us. Priorat is such a hidden gem, I can’t recommend it enough. The wine is best in class, the food is fantastic and the views rival any wine country in the world.

Ivan's door to door service was great. The three wineries we visited were each unique. This wine snob was very happy with the quality of the wine. The picnic at the 2nd winery was delicious. He had even accommodated the vegetarian in our group. I was a day we will never forget.

From pick up to drop off, everything was taken care of. Ivan was very willing to share his knowledge of the region and did so with so much enthusiasm it was hard not to be excited about the day. The winery tours were perfect and each complimented one another. Scala Dei is so rich in tradition and visiting the monastery was an added treat. Lunch at Clos Figueras sitting outside in the warmth was wonderful, and the wine tasting with Celler Devinssi on a hilltop, overlooking the very area where the grapes were harvested was a memory of a lifetime. Highly recommend Ivan and wino tours. You won’t be disappointed!

Will we have hotel pick-up and drop-off for all locations?

We always strive to arrange the pick-up as close to your hotel as possible. However, in some cases, we may ask you to walk 10 to 15 minutes to a nearby pick-up location to help streamline our guide’s schedule. We truly appreciate your understanding!

What is the cancelation policy for the wine tour packages?

Our cancellation terms depend on your chosen tour format:

Small-Group Tours: Enjoy maximum flexibility with a 24-hour cancellation policy.
Private “Wine & Stay” Packages: As these include hotel accommodations and private arrangements, they are subject to the specific terms of the partner hotel.

Can I bring children? Is the tour suitable for families?

Children aged 12 and above are welcome on our small group tours. Families with children under 12 are kindly asked to book a private tour, ensuring a peaceful experience for all guests.

What is the legal age for drinking in Spain?

The legal age for drinking alcoholic beverages in Spain is 18.

What is the maximum capacity per grourp in each tour?

Small group tours are set to a maximum of 8 people. If you are a group larger than 8 you can request a private tour sending us a form here.

Will the tour be cancelled in case of bad weather?

Our winery partners are fully equipped with indoor facilities to ensure guest comfort regardless of rain, cold, or extreme heat. To ensure safety, Wino Tours actively monitors the AEMET (Spanish National Weather Agency) for local alerts.

Our current 2026 weather policy is as follows:

Red Alerts: Tours are canceled only if a Red Alert (very unlikely) is issued.
Yellow & Orange Alerts: We exercise extreme caution and closely monitor conditions for these alert levels, though tours typically proceed as planned due to our partners’ indoor capacity.
Standard Weather: Tours are not canceled for typical rain or wind, as all tasting experiences can be moved to comfortable indoor settings.
