Another lovely way to spend the day with a group is to rent bikes and tour the vineyards of the Penedès. Our main bike rental partner is located at the Lavern-Subirats train station, making it very easy to get there by train or car, as there is ample parking at the entrance.
They are highly professional and have a large fleet of electric bikes. They also offer a bike delivery and pick-up service, in case you prefer to finish the tour in a winery.
I recommend opting for electric bicycles to make the ride more comfortable, as some routes go over hills.
There are several routes available, but my favorite is the Green Route, which passes by the Eudald Massana Noya and Albet i Noya wineries. It is a short route, about an hour and a half, which includes a wine and tapas tasting at a winery.
The route is well marked for bicycles and runs through vineyards, peach groves, pine forests and greenways. A professional guide ensures a safe and fun experience.
