Pick up in Barcelona
Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation at 9 am. After a 45-minute drive, you will arrive in the Penedés, where you will start your winery tour.
Visit the Eudald Massana Noya cellar
We will begin our tour of the wineries with a visit to the Eudald Massana Noya winery. A small biodynamic winery making wine and cava. Where you will learn about the elaboration of cava in the Penedés and you will have a premium wine tasting.
Food and wine pairing in Giró del Gorner
The second winery is a 5 century old winery owned by 2 brothers. Here you will have a pairing with local food and 3 different wines . In the beautiful garden overlooking the vineyard. Lunch includes local products such as Spanish omelette, bread with Catalan tomato, virgin olive oil, local cheese and sausages…
Cava tasting at Cava Guilera
Cava Guilera is a small family winery with 4 generations of tradition. Even today, the cava is still stirred by hand. The winery specializes in long-aged cavas. Where you will taste two very different cavas. A tasting offered by Marta, from the Guilera family, owner of this same winery.
Return in Barcelona
The tour ends at 16:00 at your hotel!

- From 24 to 48 hours before the activity: 50% refund.
- Less than 24 hours before the activity: no refund.
- If the activity cannot take place due to unfavorable weather conditions or other causes beyond the organizers’ control (such as health restrictions), the activity will be cancelled with a refund.

Ivan picked up our large group of 8 up as scheduled for our trip to the Cava winery for lunch. He picked a lovely small family run Cava winery, Giro de Gorner. The tour, lunch and Cava were amazing, as was Marta who gave us the cellar tour. After lunch, we proceeded to Tarragona for a tour of the town, its Roman ruins and Medieval architecture. We could not have planned a better day. It was truly lovely and Ivan was family by the end of our time in Barcelona.

A fantastic trip to the Cava area of Penedes! My husband and I did a private tour to Penedes for cava tasting, a birthday present from our daughters!
